Wildlife Diary from a Weymouth Garden

::Wildlife spotted::

Reptiles, Lizards/Amphibians:- Common Frog, Palmate Newt.
Birds:- Great Tit, Blue Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Coal Tit, Sparrowhawk,(F), Wren, Blackcap, Goldfinches, Green Finches, Robin, Blackbirds, Chaffinches, Wood pigeon, Herring Gull.
Mammals:- Badgers X2
Insects:- Wasps, Bumble bee, Blue bottle, Green bottle, Heath Bee flies, Honey Bee, Woodlice, Black Ants.
Planted:- Sweet peas, Swan Daisy, Wheat, Sunflowers and Millet.


:Notes:
With the weather warming up and the newly hatched arrivals the garden is buzzing with activity. Goldfinches are ignoring the Nyjer seed and taking dried mealworms/Sunflower seeds instead.

Robin and Blackbirds are also eating meal worms and any insects I disturb in the Garden.
Palmate Newt has made a home in the Growbag Try so this is now out of action.

The 2 Badgers are eating kitchen scraps and peanuts, both seem happy and healthy.
